Anorexia - Definition - Archived

Anorexia can be thought of as poor appetite or loss of desire to eat.  It is very common in all types of paediatric terminal condition.  It causes great distress to families as it goes against the primal instinct to feed children.  It is distinct from cachexia (cf).
